‘God has provided my fatherless daughter with clothing’
Here in the U.S. we take so many things for granted, such as Bibles and clothing. But our friends in the Philippines do not have access to such items, so when we ship Balikbayan boxes filled with Bibles, discipleship materials, clothing and other items, the arrival of the shipment is greatly anticipated.
Late last month, the boxes we shipped in March arrived in the Philippines filled with Bibles, devotionals, children’s clothing and other items. Love in Action received many “thank yous” from our friends. But to really understand how much it means to them, I wanted to share a message sent to me from a precious woman of God in the Philippines. Here it is:
“I received lots of blessings. First, I received a new KJV Bible. I have been praying for a new one since my old Bible is already torn out. It has been 7 years in my hands already. The first box you have sent to Pastor Greg containing KJV Bibles and reading glasses..I have been given a new Bible from there and a reading glass too. I am so thankful since I have also an eye problem. God has been answering my heart’s desire and I want to thank you personally Pastor Ken for that because you have been used as a channel of blessing to us by God.
“Moreover, the 2 Balikbayan boxes arrived yesterday and I am so thankful because Rheny Rosette and Jezreel are one of the beneficiaries of the children’s clothing and the pencils and crayons. They are so very happy and me also since God has provided my fatherless daughter with clothing. Matthew 6:33 is an awesome promise from God that if I will just seek Him first and serve Him, all of these (material,financial and physical needs) things will just be added unto me. God is so good and faithful. He keeps on proving His promises in my Christian life. Thank you so much Pastor Ken and have a great day!!”
How could I not have a great day after reading that? The items we send are very much needed and greatly appreciated. It’s important that we continue supporting our Christian brothers and sisters in the Philippines. Together, we are reaching previously unreached people and helping to build churches.
We just shipped five more Balikbayan boxes filled with Bibles, Discipleship Phase 1 books, devotionals, children’s clothing, books and toys. We thank everyone who gave so this could be accomplished.
Please continue to help us. We need more King James Version Bibles, and the more we have in large print the better since many of the people have bad eyesight and no way to obtain glasses. We will continue to work on the need for glasses as well.

Thank you again for catching the vision of LIA Philippines. God is doing an awesome work and thousands of souls are being saved and new Christians being discipled, just like Jesus tells us to do in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20): “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
